I found this classic corvette for sale i Los Angeles, California thanks to my friend Rene. The car had been parked since 1990, partly disassembled.

270hp 283 cu inch engine with a

3 speed manual gearbox.

Engine restored by Engines Limited in Wisconsin. Car was sitting on American Racing wheels with Firestone Sports 500 tires from the 60s. Car is titled and registered in Sweden as we speak.

Swapped the engine out, putting the car back together. Installed new dash and all other missing interior parts.

Painted becels etc to match.

Put ralleywheels on, custom powdercoated satin black with whitewall tires.

Painted the sides back to white again,

when I sanded down the dark blue paint I noticed the car had white inserts originally.

The car was missing it’s soft top, bought a originally restored convertible rack including

a white top from Coffman Corvette.

The ”new” engine broke down,

Uppsala Motorslip helped me fix all the machining inside, I put the engine back together and now it’s back up and running again.

I have started powdercoating myself in small scale, it’s fun, easy and turns out really good.
